James A. Duke Excellence in Botanical Literature Award

Healing Spices, written by Bharat B. Aggarwal, PhD. has been awarded the

James A.Duke Excellence in Botanical Literature Award. Packaged by
Bill Gottlieb, the book contains 50 illustrations done by me. On page 99
you'll see one of my early palms. Did you know the coconut palm produces anywhere from 60 to 180 coconuts per year? There are about 900 varieties of sage! I applaud Bill on the ambitious work he did on this project.
